The EWC Mission
At EWC we pride ourselves on our mission of providing the pipeline industry with experienced, qualified, and skilled personnel. From the field labor force to the management team, all EWC employees make customer satisfaction a high priority. A large factor in customer satisfaction is the ability to safely complete projects and on time. Our staff of project managers, superintendents, and the safety department all communicate and work together seamlessly in order to accomplish safety sensitive and/or schedule driven projects. We aim to build partnerships with our customers in order to help them maintain their good standing with the general public and keep their products flowing.

EWC believes a strong commitment to safety is the key to long term success. We are continuously challenged with safety changes from clients coupled with a new generation in the work force. Our OSHA and EMR records clearly demonstrate the success that safe operations has accomplished. The successful development of our true safety culture is accomplished with the full support of management and supervisors.
The safe operations department at EWC strives to provide an incident/injury free workplace. This requires the participation and full buy-in of every employee as we work to make zero incidents possible.
EWC has very high expectations for all employees regarding safety. Every employee has the responsibility to prevent accidents and injuries by observing established working rules and regulations, following the directions of supervisors, practicing the safety rules of EWC and our clients, exercising stop work authority, and by collectively providing ideas on how our safety efforts can be further evolved and strengthened.
RELATIONSHIP BASED SAFETY APPROACH
One of the benefits to the size of EWC is the ability to have to operate as a team while maintaining a family-like atmosphere. We can take the time to get to know new employees and learn their history. We ask what motivates them and why they believe they want to work safe. Taking this time with each employee starts the process of learning their motivations, setting expectations for both, and building a relationship that is unique to each employee.
Ed Wallace Construction, Inc. maintains all required licenses to operate in the pipeline industry in every state where work is performed. EWC’s corporate office is located just outside of Charlotte, NC. EWC is currently serving districts in the Gulf Coast, South East, and North East. EWC is continuously expanding their territory and obtaining new licenses as opportunities arise. We are currently licensed in the following states:
